An in-depth guide to the capabilities of the Transactions section of the Nexio dashboard, including how to void/refund directly from the dashboard.

The Transactions section can be found within the Nexio Dashboard.  Click on "Transactions" on the left side of the screen.

Once in the Transactions section, the screen will display a date range, along with several columns of data.

By default, the date range goes back one full month from the current day.

You can change the date range by clicking on either date.  If you click on the left date (September 5th in this example), you change the beginning range of the data, and if you click on the right date (October 5th) you change the ending range of the data.  The specific start or end date will be highlighted in light blue, and on the calendar, you will see the full date range colored in blue as well, with the start and end dates in a darker blue.

The next major feature of the Transactions section is the column headers.  You can sort the data by column, customize which columns are shown, the order of the columns, and the width of each column.

Any column that has the up and down arrow icons can be sorted.  If you click on the arrows it will automatically sort smallest to largest, then a second click will sort largest to smallest.  If the data does not contain numbers, then it will sort alphabetically, and a second click will sort it in reverse alphabetical order.  Below is an example of the icon, next to the Date column header.

Any column that has a white box under the column header can be searched.  You are able to type directly into the white field and the data will filter in real-time.  Some of the white boxes contain a drop-down menu that offers specific selections.  See the images below for examples of both search options.

Drop-Down Menu

Each user on a Nexio account may customize how they view the Transactions section.  Clicking on the + on the right side of the column headers will open a drop-down menu of all of the available columns.  Users can check or uncheck any columns they would like, and they can also drag the columns to change their order.  The images below show where to click to open the sorting menu, along with a small selection of the column headers that are available.  If there is a blue check on the left, then that column is shown in the user's view of the transactions.  Clicking on and dragging the 3 lines on the right will allow users to change the order of the columns.

One convenient feature of the Transactions section of the dashboard is the ability to export the data.  If you click on the small box with an arrow inside of it that is located on the top right of the window, all the data that is showing will be exported (the exported data will be based on any filters or sorting that you have done on the window previously).

Also, if you are waiting for something to update, or waiting for a transaction to show up in the list, you can click on the circular arrow, and it will refresh the data.

The icons below are for refresh and export.

If you click on the magnifying glass on the top right of the Transactions screen, you will have the option to search.

By default, you will be searching the entire dashboard, but you can select "Transactions" from the drop-down menu.

When your search is successful, it will return rows of transactions that match your search criteria.  The example below is using the Nexio Transaction ID.

Once you find the transaction you need, you can click on it directly and be taken to the details of the transaction.

Transaction details are available when you click on any specific transaction from the main "Transactions" page, or when you click on any transactions that show up as a result of a search.

The basic information that will show up for any transaction will be split into 3 sections - Transaction Results, Transaction Information, and Payment Method.  These 3 sections will always show up, regardless of what information is passed to Nexio (more sections can be populated if more data is sent over to Nexio when the transaction is submitted).

The type of information returned in each section is based on the information that is sent over to Nexio when the transaction is submitted, but the sections will normally look something like the following:

The above image shows the typical layout of the transaction details (with sensitive information blurred).

Specific details of transactions can be found on this page.

Also, if your account is specifically set up you will have access to refund or void transactions directly from the dashboard.  The blue button on the top right will allow you to immediately void or refund a transaction (depending on the status of the transaction in question).
