The Complete Gateway is an online terminal that facilitates the acceptance of credit card and ACH transactions.  The gateway is also built to integrate with several POS systems including shopping carts through an API or Source Key.  

This article will focus on how Void a transaction within the Complete Gateway Dashboard 2.  

Once logged into the Complete Gateway you will find the main dashboard with several options to the left.  These options include topics such as Dashboard, Transactions, Batches, Customers, Products, Invoices, Reports, etc.

When selecting the Transactions feature a new drop down will appear with the headings of New Order, Simple Charge, Auth Only, Refund and Voice Auth.  

Utilize the available search feature, swiper feature or Recent Transaction feature to find the original transaction.  Because a sales transaction can only be voided when a transaction has not settled it should appear easily within the Recent Transactions section.

Once the transaction is found select the Void button to the right of the transaction.  This will produce a confirmation asking if you would like to continue voiding the transaction along with providing an selection to release the funds immediately back into the customers bank account*.  

A confirmation of the voided transaction will be provided.

*When performing a void there is an option to release the funds immediately into the customer bank account.  This request in contingent on the banks response.  The can only be released by the customers bank account.
